Nutritious and Delicious

13Feb09

Estee Lauder’s new Vita-Minerals Nutritious foundation, available at Nordstrom for $33.50, is an anitoxidant, brightening, power punch for your skin. Perfect for the not-yet-age-defying market, the formula incorporates radiance through minerals, vitamins, and pomegranate. Plus, it’s perfectly gentle for sensitive skins.

I was given a couple of full size foundations to try out by the gracious PR team for Estee Lauder, and lo and behold, they weren’t my shade. So I grabbed two of my best friends who matched them perfectly. The girls tried them out and I got some great feedback (after the jump):

no really, not even fronting.

it’s the best foundation i’ve ever used. it’s so easy to apply and light so it really feels like you’re not even wearing any. i’ve had two people ask me if i had gotten a facial, just recently, after having used it. it evens my skin tone so well without masking it.

i swear, i mean everything. i love it. so spank you!

oh, that’s another thing i forgot to mention – the smell. it smells soapy and fresh but the one thing that got my attention was this very mild olive oil scent – which i really like. am i alone in this?

I’ll check when I go home.

Whatever the scent, it’s not dominating (or bad) or I would have
noticed.  If something is faint and a good smell (ie the description
Klodi used), I tend not to notice it.
